Dinesh Vijan is an Indian film director and producer widely known for his work in Bollywood. He is also the founder of the production company Maddock Films. In 2004, at the age of 23, Vijan quit his banking job to pursue his filmmaking passion. He first took up the role of a film producer with the Homi Adajania directed 2005 film ‘Being Cyrus’. Later, he ventured into direction with the 2017 romantic action film, ‘Raabta’, starring late Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon. He has garnered critical acclaim as well as immense commercial success for some of his film productions. He has donned the producer's hat for more than 25 movies, including ‘Go Goa Gone’, ‘Cocktail’, ‘Badlapur’, ‘Stree’, ‘Hindi Medium’, ‘Luka Chuppi’, ‘Arjun Patiala’, ‘Angrezi Medium’, ‘Roohi’, the ‘Love Aaj Kal’ series, and ‘Mimi’ as well as the upcoming ‘Dasvi’ and ‘Shiddat’, among others. He has also earned a wide reputation as a leading Indian producer in the highly competitive Hindi film industry.
